On September 1, 2025, as part of the 90th anniversary celebrations of Volgograd State Medical University, the university community will revive the tradition of laying the Wreath of Glory and Remembrance at the Eternal Flame of the "Mass Grave of the Defenders of Red Tsaritsyn and Soldiers of the 62nd and 64th Armies Who Perished in the Defense of Stalingrad" memorial.
The ceremony will be attended by veterans, university administration representatives, faculty members, students, and alumni. This event will serve as a symbol of remembrance and gratitude for the heroism of those who defended our city and country during the Great Patriotic War.
