Phygital Marathon: Technologies of the Future in Honour of the Great Victory.
On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, Volgograd State Medical University hosted a unique phygital festival dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event harmoniously combined the spirit of historical heritage with modern technological trends, attracting students, faculty, and all those who appreciate the blend of tradition and innovation.
Three disciplines—one final.
Participants competed in three exciting
disciplines: phygital basketball, drone racing, and shooting. Each sport
offered unique challenges, combining physical activity with virtual reality.
Drone racing became a particularly vivid moment: for the first time in the
region, such competitions were held within the walls of VolgSMU, which amazed
both participants and guests.
